Equity Analyst
Position Overview:
Within Equity Research, the analyst will play an important role in gathering, interpreting, and using data to analyze the performance of publicly listed companies globally. There will be a key focus on Excel modeling, research, and
writing equity research reports. The analyst will report to the Portfolio Manager, Investments at GMG. Within Global Markets, the analyst will focus on creating weekly and monthly commentary on their respective sector like TMT, Consumer Staples, Information Technology etc. The key focus will remain on maintaining
knowledge of financial market conditions and trends and publishing equity research reports.
Responsibilities:
• Developing in-depth financial models using Excel (DCF, LBO, company comparables and sensitivity analysis)
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of financial market conditions and trends
• Consolidating and analyzing information from company financial statements to research and publish equity research reports
• Working closely with other analysts and presenting research findings to the Portfolio Manager
• Maintaining a positive and professional brand image of the organization
Qualifications:
• Interest in capital markets and equity research
• High attention to detail and prior experience with excel financial modelling
• Proven track record of outstanding achievements (academic, extracurricular and co-
op/internships)
• Ability to commit time

Macro Analyst
Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated students to join our macroeconomic analysis and quantitative research team. As a team member, you will be involved in conducting economic research, analyzing data, and producing reports that contribute to our understanding of macroeconomic trends. This role is an excellent opportunity to enhance your research skills, work with like-minded peers, and gain practical experience in the field of economics.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on macroeconomic topics, including but not limited to GDP growth, inflation, unemployment, fiscal and monetary policy, and international trade.
• Perform quantitative analysis using statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, Python) to interpret economic data and generate insights.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and publications based on research findings.
• Stay updated with current economic events and trends, and contribute to discussions during team meetings.
• Collaborate with team members on research projects, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all work.
• Participate in the development of econometric models to forecast economic variables and assess policy impacts.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled as a student in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in macroeconomics and economic policy analysis.
• Proficiency in quantitative research methods and experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, Python).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

New Business Development Analyst
Position Overview:
The New Business Development Analyst is responsible for identifying,
developing, and implementing new business opportunities and partnerships for the club. This role will support the club's growth and sustainability by expanding its reach, enhancing its offerings, and generating additional resources to support club activities and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Research and identify potential business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams for the club.
• Develop a pipeline of new business prospects, including sponsorships, grants, and
fundraising initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including club alumni, local businesses, and community organizations.
• Prepare and deliver proposals to potential partners, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate the success of new business initiatives, providing regular updates to club leadership and members.
• Assist in organizing and promoting club events and activities that showcase the club's value and attract new partners.
• Booking and facilitating team meetings, networking events and any ad hoc duties.
Qualifications:
• Interest in and knowledge of business development, marketing, and sales principles.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and proposals.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Experience with project management and negotiation is a plus.
ESG Analyst
Position Overview:
The ESG Analyst is responsible for researching, analyzing, and evaluating
environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors related to the clubs’ activities and initiatives. This role will support the club's commitment to sustainability, ethical practices, and responsible governance by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to the club's leadership and
members.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on ESG topics relevant to the club's activities, such as climate change, diversity and inclusion, human rights, and corporate governance.
• Analyze data and information to assess the club's performance on ESG factors and identify areas for improvement.
• Integrate ESG factors into investment analysis, conduct due diligence, and present conclusions during stock discussions.
• Monitor ESG factors within internal equity portfolios, evaluate exposure to ESG risks, and escalate concerns to portfolio managers.
• Prepare reports and presentations on the club's ESG performance for club meetings and events.
• Stay informed on ESG trends, best practices, and regulatory developments to ensure the club's activities align with current standards and expectations.
• Assist in organizing and promoting ESG-related events, such as guest speakers, workshops, and community service projects.
Qualifications:
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
• Fundamental knowledge of basic business, financial statements, and investment-related disciplines is essential.
